If preferred, membership applications are available at all of our events with dues being paid in cash.
Note: We do not give out tax receipts for membership. PATH is a not-for-profit corporation registered in the Province of Ontario.
Voting Membership $10-$20 annually
A 'Regular Member' (voting member), requires payment of the annual membership fee of $10 to be paid to the Treasurer, and will be confirmed by resolution of the Board of Directors at a subsequent meeting. Family memberships (voting) will pay annual dues of $20 and will be confirmed by resolution of the Board of Directors at a subsequent meeting. A Family membership is limited to 4 persons in the family.
The Regular Member in good standing shall be entitled to one vote on each matter arising at a special, general or annual meetings of the members of the Corporation. Voting is for members 11 years of age and older. The membership year runs from January 1 to December 31.Full membership bylaws are listed below.
Non-Voting Membership No annual fees
A Non-voting Member shall be a person who joined via either the Corporation’s Facebook Group Page or Website. This Member shall not be required to pay a membership fee. The Member shall be allowed to attend only general or annual members’ meetings. The Member shall have no voting privilege on matters arising at any general or annual meetings. The Member may be allowed to speak at the general meeting if permitted by the Chair of the Meeting. Full membership bylaws are listed below.

Section 10. Members
10.1 Members
Membership in the Corporation shall consist of the incorporators named in the articles and such other persons interested in furthering the Corporation’s purposes and who have been accepted into membership in the Corporation by resolution of the Board.
10.2 Membership
A membership in the Corporation is not transferable and automatically terminates if the Member resigns or such membership is otherwise terminated in accordance with the Act.
a) Regular Member
A Regular Member of good standing, requires payment of the annual membership fee of $10 to be paid to the Treasurer, and will be confirmed by resolution of the Board of Directors at a subsequent meeting. Only Members in good standing are allowed to attend special meetings.
Regular Members in good standing are allowed to stand for positions on the Board of Directors when a position becomes available for election.
A Regular Member in good standing may be appointed by the Board of Directors if a Director is unable to perform or is removed from their position during their term.
b) Non-Voting Member

c) Honourary Member
Honourary Membership may be bestowed on a person who has helped the Corporation in a constructive manner.
The Honourary Member shall be recommended by the Board of Directors and shall be voted upon by members in good standing. Honourary Membership will be bestowed by a majority vote of members present at the meeting.
The proposed Honourary Member shall not have a vote, but shall be entitled to Notice of general and annual meetings of the members of the Corporation.
The Honourary Member shall not be required to pay any membership fee.
10.3 Disciplinary Act or Termination of Membership for Cause
a. Upon 15 days’ written notice to a Member, the Board may pass a resolution authorizing disciplinary action or the termination of membership for violating any provision of the articles or By-laws.
b. The notice shall set out the reasons for the disciplinary action or termination of membership. The Member receiving the notice shall be entitled to give the Board a written submission opposing the disciplinary action or termination not less than 5 days before the end of the 15-day period. The Board shall consider the written submission of the Member before making a final decision regarding disciplinary action or termination of membership.
